Show Up on December 10
If you can do only one thing to help TIDE Academy right now, please show up for the Sequoia Union High School District board meeting on December 10 — in person or on Zoom. A big, visible turnout from families, students, educators, and community members is the most powerful message we can send.

What to do at the meeting
You don’t need to be an expert or a public speaker to make a difference:
Show up and be counted – just being in the room (or on Zoom) matters.
Wear TIDE colors or TIDE gear if you have it.
Hold a simple sign (for example: “Save TIDE,” “Small Schools Matter,” “Keep TIDE Open”).
Speak during public comment if you feel comfortable. Even 1–2 minutes from the heart is powerful.
Support students who are speaking with applause and positive energy.
Helpful ideas for public comments
If you choose to speak, you might:
Share how TIDE has helped you or your student.
Explain why a small, inclusive public high school is important in our district.
Ask the board to share complete financial data and fully consider alternatives to closure before any decision is made.
(We will add sample talking points and printable sign templates on this page soon.)
Can’t attend in person?
Join on Zoom and keep your camera on if possible.
Share the meeting information with friends, neighbors, and local groups.
Make sure you have signed the petition and emailed the board – every action counts.
Thank you for standing with TIDE Academy and the students who depend on it.
